I've got several rear axles and the alternator bracket that you've been wanting. I have several birfields but I'm keeping them for myself. Sorry    No luck on the 4-runner panels.

I am looking for a rear Toy double cardon driveshaft.  And I don't want the one off of your wrecked truck. I may end up running one on the front of my Zuk.  JC

You need a front driveshaft from an IFS truck. Toyota did not use a CV on the rear. You have to make one from a front. I have several. How about $60 for one?

What year are you needing? There are several different bolt patterns on toy driveshaft flanges and CV's. I have some of each. Thanks.

Doc , make me an offer on that stuff. I know where there's a few runners in a junk yard if you want to check them out for some panels.

Chappy, exactly what do you need? I'll try to round it up. We might do some trading on that bed and tailgate you've got. Let me know.

I dont have a tranfer case doubler. Marlin sells them for $329 , kinda hard to beat that. I have a few transfer cases though.

$30 sounds good.

There are a few runners at HWY 79 auto salvage , located about 2 miles from the bottom of Skyline on hwy 79. I don't know if they're any good , I just know he has some.

Do you have a complete wiring harness for a 87 Toyota pick-up. My heater wires shorted out and does not work now. I need it for the A/C to work.

Byron, I have a PS pump. I have steering boxes also if you need one. I'll take $100 for both or $40 for a pump.

Slamchops , I have 1 extra axle thats not in a housing.$25. I hate to take a complete '86 + rear end apart just for the axles. I have a complete '89 v6 rear end if anyone needs one. I have several 4cyl rear ends also.

I have some tail lights lenses too, but you can buy them new for almost nothing.

Short wheel base, or does it matter?? Why from an IFS ? All 84 to 94  SWB 5spd driveshafts are the same. Are you sure you don't need an IFS front driveshaft to make a rear driveshaft out of ? They make good rear driveshafts on rigs with a short wheel base or dual t-cases. Either way, I have both. Let me know

I have one front toy shaft to use on my Zuk rear, But I could use a spare. On the rear shaft either long or short wheel base will work, because it will have to be cut down. And if either has a better ujoint (will work at more of an angle), that is what I need. Do you still have a 33 I can use for a spare?  Tell me how much for all this, and I'll see you at the meeting next week.  Thanks, JC

I'll bring the steering shaft and the drive shaft to the meeting. (how's $50 for both ?) The only 33" spares I have right now are completly bald. If you can hold off for a while I will have some nice BFG m/t's with a little tread left you can get. If you need one now I can bring one of the bald ones. Free if you want one. I have a bunch of spare wheels also if you need a wheel to mount a spare on.

I thought you bought the blue '89 from Danny after I sold it to him?

Oh well, yea I think the pickup and 4Runner hose is the same, mine looks the same as on your old blue toy.  I need one to graft a 26 gallon tank on my 4Runner.

Thanks, next meeting?

I'm looking for a 4 cyl T-case.  I want one from a 84-88 truck or runner with tranny code G52, G54, or W56.  Do you have anything like that?

Thanks,

Careful, they are only the same if they are off an IFS.....the solid axles had narrower axles.

Do you need a top shift or forward shift?

All G52's and G54's were forward shift , and 85-88 W56's were top shift. All '89-'95 W56's were forward shift. A forward shift "G" series also has different length shift rods than a forward shift "W" series.

If you need a top shift , anything from '79-'83 will work . They were all top shift.

Find out exactly what you need and I'll see what I've got.

Thanks.

Yea, the different shift rod length, on the 89-95, is why I only want one through 88.  I would have to swap shift rods in those cases.  I don't want 79-83, because they are "noisy run gears", per Advance Adapter, which is where I am getting most of my info on what I need.  This all narrows it down to 84-88 and leaves a choice of forward shift or top shift.  I think, for my application, my first choice would be top shift(W56) but would also consider a forward shift(G52, G54).

Thanks,

Jeff Posey

What are you doing with it, and what are you putting it in?

If your adding a dual t-case, your rear-most t-case MUST be a top shift. The front case or "crawl box" must be whatever fits your tranny.

As far as the "noisy" or "quiet" gears , that don't mean jack. I have run both and can't tell any differance.

You need to check out www.marlincrawler.com . They have all the info you need. I'm not sure what AA sells a dual case adapter for , but marlins is $330. Also check out the dual case comparison chart. It has some good info on the different brands of adapters.

Putting a 5.0L and AOD in an 88 V6 4runner, so I need the 4 cyl T-case.  The adapter will work with both the top shift cases and the earlier forward mounted shifter cases.  As far as the quiet vs noisy cases, it is currently very quiet, with no noises, rattles, or squeaks, except for the noise of the tires that I am about to replace.  I really like it that way and, if there is "noisy vs quiet" on anything, I want to take the "quiet" choice.

All I have in a top shift is an '80 model. Like I said , I can't tell that one is quieter than the other. I have had both and can't tell any difference. I have an '82 t-case as the rear case for my crawler in my '89 and it's not noisy at all. If your that concerned about it , you are more than welcome to come drive my truck.

Either way, I'll take $100 for it if you want it.

If you don't think it makes any more noise than the others, I may give it a try.  I'd like to come take a look at it.  Where are you located?  I am in Madison and can usually be reached on my cell at 714-5885.

Thanks,

No, they are not the same , and they will NOT interchange. Anything '85 to '95 will work on your '87. The '84 down 22r's had a taller block and head.

you wouldnt happen to have the short hose on the intake of a 22re motor, mine tore  and need to fix it cuz it wont run . it is the rubber hose that connects from intake to the plastic tubing that runs out of the mass air. only bout a foot long or less . also how much?

You'll need to know if it's an '84 down (dome top pistons) or an '85 up (flat tops). Thats basically all you need to know.

I would completely tear down the engine and have everything checked before you order your kit. This way you know what size pistons and bearings to order.

Check out www.22re.com  I have built 4 22R's with this kit and have had good luck so far. I don't think you'll beat it for the price either. Everything is japanese parts.

Nick, Do you have any Aisin locking hubs? The axle I bought last year was missing one. The guy gave one he said would fit, but it doesn't. It is 26 spline just like a Samurai hub.   JC

Nope. Good luck finding a good xtra-cab. Your best bet is to look for a 2wd. They can be found cheap.

If it's EFI the harness will be the same. Anything from '84 to '88 will work.
