I used to say I never had a Duracell battery leak and ruin anything. But for the last 2 or 3 years it seems like they all leak. Their QC has gone to sh!t. I just looked at a pack of AAA batteries which were supposed to be good until 2027 and they had already started leaking inside their unopened packaging.
Now I just buy Energizer lithium AA and AAA. They cost twice as much but I've read they cannot leak.....whatever that means.

We have several game cameras on our TN property. I buy the large packs of Rayovac batteries. I think there are 36 in a pack. Usually the batteries are worn out (hundreds of pictures) within 4 weeks. I change all the batteries in all the cameras at the same time. Never had a problem until recently. Apparently I got a bad batch and they ruined 4 cameras. I try to check the cameras more often now.
