More and more of the liberals decry the automobile. I think it just aligns with their whole "we can't have them operating independently, making their own decisions" mentality. They dont want us to be able to defend ourselves, or potentially stand up against a powerful government run amok, and they sure as hell dont want us being able to move around and transport things that might assist in that resistance. See where this is going?

That was the biggest waste of time. The author Nathan Heller is full of it. A car enthusiast started driving at 18? An "enthusiast" shifting the car into drive? Castrated Soy Boy pushing the leftist narrative.

LOL! My thoughts ran along similar lines. The author is, by definition, a coward. This guy was afraid of automobiles before he ever sat behind the driver seat. And because he's lived his entire life in urban areas with robust public transportation, uses that as justification for embracing his fears.
