Well, it was decided sunday morning that a sunday night ride would be really fun.  Seeing as it has been over a year since I had done a night ride I was itching to do one.  I figured Spring creek was close by, fun , and had great views of Georgetown and figured it would look great at night!

So, I posted up and called a few people and ended up with one other person that thought it a good idea on such short notice.  He responded on Colorado4x4 and we met up at Albersons off Kipling and C470.

Once we got to the trail and aired down we started up the first fun obstical "The Wall"

Then the trek up the shelf road looking out at Georgetown (amazing how the camera made the night look so bright!!  I need to figure out how to make the shutter not stay open so long).

Going up the steep dirt hill climb Mark ripped a large hole in the sidewall of his pasenger front tire

We then got to the rock garden and Mark got high centered with all 4 in the air

I don't have any pictures but another guy came rolling up behind us in the rock garden while freeing up Mark.  He had a hole in his gas tank (slow leak) and while getting lined up he managed to get a large bolder wedged onto his front driveshaft and oil pan...after some highlift jack and much grunting from me and Mark we managed to get the rock out of harms way and get him back on his way.

I really enjoy the rock garden area!

The kids really do enjoy riding!!  Although they have been doing it since 6 months old

This is where Marks fuel pump died and the engine wouldn't start.  Well, we don't know if it was electrical/fuse issues or the actual pump.

It doesn't look like it in the above picture but it was actually quite dark (note the moon).
