I have a lot of respect for LEO but that's not to say there are some bad ones out there.

I wonder if Jason Klonowski lived out on Hwy 53? There is a house just down the road from Publix in Harvest that has yard signs up about this. Maybe it is Robert Bryant's home. Someone was out today changing the sign and I thought about stopping to talk with him. Also after reading the article, Bryant could have handled the first incident much better than he did but alcohol will make you do stupid stuff i guess.

Well people don't like to hear it but the Sheriff's office is doing the right thing and keeping their mouths shut. Remember this is only one side of the story, remember the waitress recently who posted the faked receipt with the comment about her "lifestyle" that proved false when the customer posted their copy along with the CC statement. This could turn into the same thing. Not defending anyone yet, I am aware of cops who could do simething just like this is described.
If there is anything underhanded going on that Dorning can uncover, I'd hate to be the one covering it up or doing it. Blake is a standup guy and won't stand for anything like this, know him personally.

Jason's house is on Hwy 53-not far from me. Jason put statements on his yard sign about various issues for many years. Not sure if that had anything to do with his death. ABI might figure this out.

Always liked a lot of what he had to say on the sign.

Speaking of signs, has anyone seen that big white sign (maybe 20' x 15') in the guy's front yard on Hwy 72 past Woodville? It says something like:
This is private property. Keep Out! THERE IS NOTHING ON THIS RIDGE WORTH DIEING FOR! |

Noted that sign for awhile, but never get to catch the whole thing. Sounds like he had problems with tresspassing. Hope he doesn't go crazy like the guy between Monteagle and Chattanooga did and start shooting folks and stacking them like cordwood.
Got trapped on a ridge at a ride near Monteagle once and a local offered to take us out a back way which included "heading over by where that guy shot all the ATVers". Luckily there wasn't banjo music involved.

Couple of things not adding up here for me.
1.) Why did the officer not draw his weapon if "charged" by offender? 2.) No field sobriety test, breathalyzer test, etc. 3.) No dash cam. Just a whole lot of inconsistencies in both stories really. Gonna be a mess to try and sort out for ABI. Moral of the story, heavy drinking and chasing half dressed women can get you in some interesting situations. We may never know what really happened. |
