Saw this yesterday. 9th circuit is out of control. They even stated in the opinions that rich people have more of a right to privacy than ordinary folk due to guards on property. What happened to no trespassing laws?

If this ruling is allowed to stand it won't do any good  to park in a garage or have fences and gates.  If you ever take the vehicle out on the streets all they would have to do is wait unitl it is parked at the store and slip the GPS device onto the it while you are shopping.

Next they will decide since your garage isn't part of your house that your privacy rights don't apply so they can break in to install said gps.

I figure I can be tracked on my cell phone anyways. Didn't know the gov. even let me have privacy rights anymore. Only thing worse is having my wife track me down where I'm not supposed to be.

I agree with you 100% but other than voting and writing letters/making calls I don't know what we can do about it. It's happening so much faster than voting can react and it seems to take twice the amount of time or more to undo legislation.

Anybody get the feeling that "Harrison Bergeron" was more of foreshadowing than just a short story?
