Hello,

I'm new to the forum.  I currently live in Cullman and work in Huntsville at the Arsenal. I own a 86 FJ60 Toyota Land Cruiser and have completed a few mods  here and there. Looking to meet to do some trial rides and meet people with similar interests (4*4 / cars / trucks..etc).

I'm just in it to have fun..

Howdy Elbert,

You should check out one of our club meetings at Newks on University Dr.  Visitors are always welcome, even Yota owners. Tongue  The meetings are listed on the club calendar.

Hi...  My name is Lee Anna Wright and I'm the Membership Chairman for RCRC.  We would be glad to have you join us at any of our upcoming events.

Here is some general information about our club: http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.com/about_us.htm - http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.com/about_us.htm

Our monthly meeting is the first Thursday of each month at Newk's on University Drive (next one scheduled 12/3/09).  The meeting starts at 7:00, but we all usually get there around 6:00 to eat.  At each meeting, we typically set up a ride or two for the month.

Our Events Calendar is posted on our website at http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.com/calendar/default.htm - http://www.rocketcityrockcrawlers.com/calendar/default.htm .

If I can answer any questions, please let me know....

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Welcome to the forum. You came around to late to be around our resident FJ60 expert. He has moved to Alaska.

Im still lurking Approve, Elbert if you have questions you can PM me. I may not get back to you right away as I work 2 weeks on 2 weeks off in an area that has limited internet access. IH8MUD.com is also an excellent resource for Land Cruiser info. I am AKcruzr on that forum.  Man I wish I could check out your 60, 5.7 Vortec sounds like a good motor for climbing slick Alabama clay hills Thumbs Up

Patrick...

I'm a member on the i8hmud forum.... been there for a while.  I have a thread or two over there about the engine swap and all the "pain and suffering"... we went through.

I'm still not 100% complete.... maybe by next summer I'll get the A/C working and get my wiring harness all fine tuned and tied away.

The "mud" forum is one of the best for LC idiots...
