Apparently they didn't do a very good job of getting the word out on this one! Its at 6 PM at the Space & Rocket Center Training Facility (the building on the left just after you pass the Marriott).

For an organization centered around getting people prepared, they're not very good at getting people prepared.

Always learn about this the day of it seems and have an obligation.

There is typically a class before every severe weather cycle, spring/fall. Think this one may have been rushed to go along with the Governor making this Severe Weather Week (used to be the Preparedness week in Sept). He doesn't seem to coordinate things like that very well with the agencies doing things. CERT just got notice of it last week along with the ARES/RACES group. I think the resend of the CERT email was delayed some, but still about a weeks notice of the meeting isn't a good thing.
