The hsv shows used to be pretty good many years ago before that idiot gut shot hisself with his on Glock and got them shut down.

As someone who goes to 5-6 shows a year, the Huntsville shows have become my favorite... Why on earth it has been on the last weekend of hunting season 2 years in a row, I'll never know, but the h'ville show is very good! More guns, less memorabillia

The VBC show is pretty good, as MM said it's not as much militaria/collectables as the Bham ALGCA show, but has a lot of guns.  The VBC show was shut down for years and when they started back ammo was prohibited, but now I'm pretty sure they've found a way to sell ammo.  It's much better than the Cahaba show that comes around a couple time a year.
