Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself on the forums even though I've met a few of you on the trails and known a couple of you my entire life (Nick & Clint).  I've been lurking so I decided it was time to post up.

I'm Phil, born and raised up at Skyline.  Went to UAH from '01-'05 and got my BS (how fitting, lol) in Mechanical Engineering.  Moved to Huntsville in late 2006 but still spend most of my weekends in the shop or in the woods up at Skyline.

Here's a few pics of my trail rig at Mountainside:
'73 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
SOA, Saginaw PS, 4.88's, locked up front / welded rear, 4x4lab hysteer, "R" Nylon Buckshots, disc brakes conversion up front

I look forward to hitting the trails with more of you!

It was good to meet you at the club meeting. I was the guy talking to you guys after the meeting. That's a nice FJ40. We haven't had one around the club since Patrick Bellourdry moved to Alaska. I still can't believe how clean your toyota truck was. That's a very nice find.

Driving my suburban by myself pulling the FJ40, 750+ miles per day stopping only to sleep and eat, 7 very loooooooooooooooooooooooooong days.  You miss a hell of alot of beautiful scenery and interesting stuff along the way though.
