Hollytree Off-Road has put up
a rough map of the trails. We have been cutting new trails weekly. http://www.hollytreeoffroad.com/HollytreeOffRoad/Map.html |

Nice to see you guys getting the map done.
I build global maps for the Army, so I am picky when it comes to maps. That being said, and because I want to make sure that you guys are on a track for success and less headache......you really need some reference points somewhere. For instance, many ORVs have names for trails. Some names are catchy, like "tub" and "lions back". I am all for naming different trails, but you need to be able to identify them on a map, and on the ground. My suggestion is to maybe change the numbers that you are using to show the "difficulty" to a color, kinda like skiing resorts. Then number them because there may be multiple numbers of each difficulty level............and then if you want to name the trails some catchy name, go ahead and do so. This way you can find yourself on the map, know where you are, and know the difficulty of the the trail your are looking at. All of that with the understanding that you have labeled the trails on the ground as well, and that they correspond with the map(colors match, numbers match, etc.) you may already have this in the works...............and if so..........disregard all of my nonsense. Can't wait to come back out and have some fun.

We are working on all these ideas. ALL suggestions are greatly appreciated. We were just trying to get a little something up for now. I know it's basic.
