I think this is a oood improvement, but there's always downsides, and the big one here is that the cost to make these headlights, and consequently the cost to replace them as a result of damage from collisions, will go way up. |

Just make them actually smart, I'm not a fan of the new vehicles with the auto high beams as they still blind you for a bit until they adjust down. Living out in the country its more of a problem.

Ditto on headlights being a real problem out in the country where we live. People put $1000 blue headlights into a $500 car and never aim them correcty or remember to dim them.
