Looking for an explorer 8.8. Swapping into a tj. If it has 3.73-4.56 that would be ideal, but if it doesn’t I will still consider it for the right price.
Sorry, meant to post in “Wanted” discussion area.
*8.8 has been found*

Make sure you get a 1995 or later for the disc brakes. Also the u joint to flange adapter is a 1330. Grab it off the driveshaft if you want 1330.  Your yj should have 1310 joints unless it has been upgraded. You can get a 1310 to 1330 spicer adapter joint. Give me a shout if you need the part number. I have some sitting on the shelf. They also make a flange adapter that is 1310. I think the part number is 2-2-1379 on for the 1310 version.

I’ve already 8.8 swapped my yj a few years ago. I’ve built a few 8.8’s since then. This one is going in the gf’s tj. LKQ had 3 explorers/ mountaineers, all the rear ends were gone. Called up Karla down at complete auto recyclers and she had one from a 97 with 3.73 and lsd. The front LP d30 is already 3.73 and since it’s a daily the lsd will work just fine.
