I like it. Not for me, but I think it's cool, nonetheless.

I've known about it for some time.  There have been numerous discussions on the Expedition Portal in their pop up truck camper section about JK's and integrated campers.  Pretty cool idea and nice execution but I think I'd rather have a Flipac camper integrated on a JK before this.

BTW, It's similar to the Brute and 4 Wheel Camper Sparrow both of which are already in production.

There was a Truck Camper show in Nashville this past weekend that I wanted to go to but it just didn't work out.  Cry

We wanted to go to that show to see the new Lance 1055.  But we called and they haven't gotten one yet.

Lance doesn't even show a 1055 on their site.  What's the difference from a 1050?  Are you in the market for a new one?

Yeh, thats it, 1050S.  We have been looking at new ones for many years, but never found anything we like better than what we have.  We want one with a slide out.  That slide out creates a lot more floor space.

Back in 2006 when I was looking for a truck camper I went to this  Huntsville RV show and they didn't have a single truck camper.  All kinds of toy haulers, motorhomes and camping trailers, but they didn;t have anything I was looking for.

And the toy haulers they have on display won't hold Jeeps (or Porsche's), only bikes and golf carts.  Cry

You just don't see many truck campers at RV shows in the south.  If you can wrangle a pass to the big RV dealers show they have every December in Louisville, Ky; there will be +30 truck campers there from several different brands.  Also lots of HUGE toy haulers.

If you are ever in/near Denver, there are several big truck camper dealers there with just about all the different brands.  Some people from the south will actually buy a cheap plane ticket to Denver and get a cheap rental car and spend a couple of days just driving around looking at truck campers.

My dad got mine when I we lived in Salt Lake City. I needed a part once and went to Madison RV and they would not help me. Don't really start to see truck campers until you get to Texas it seems.
