I believe there are a few people headed up to Tellico. I might go up there if I can ever get my truck back together.

I wouldnt go anywhere near Tellico on Memorial Day weekend....the trails would be a parking lot.

Maybe we oughta look at an overnight ride at Copp Cove.  Anyone interested?

Pretty easy ride, but fun, and very beautiful scenery. Lots of stream crossings, some rocks, a little mud... Nothing terribly difficult.

They're some good trails, Jdubz. Very scenic, not terribly difficult, but can be challenging.

Sean, Steve, somebody...take charge, plan this ride, yall know where it is.  I am committed to some other things this weekend.  My teenage daughter wants AC functional in her car again, and if you have ever tried to change a compressor in a Honda Prelude, its like building a ship in a bottle...so her birthday (May 31) present is cold air in da ride.  She wants to help, so that means it'll take twice as long.

FYI for you guys if I/we show up....

I don't have a winch or a CB :(

Other than that, I think I can keep up ok on moderate rated trails.

I do have a tow strap

Jdubz,

Do you have any walkie talkies? We can make do with that, and put you in the middle. Not having a winch isn't a problem, as long as you have some tow hooks.

Sorta, Logging company owns the land, but leases land in the area to hunting clubs and keeps the trails open as entry points to the hunting parcals. Basically they could close it if they wanted, but have so far chosen to keep it open to the public.
