Bender for 1 inch Tubing??

   I am in the process of building a folding lightrack for my truck.  I am building it out if 1 inch OD, 14 ga and tried bending it with a HF Kinker, which lived up to it's name.  Along with kinking the tube, it also seems to have too tight of a radius.  Without having to try it and waste tube stock, I was wondering if anyone has had luck using one of the larger dies, in the kinker, which will give the bend a larger radius, but will probably let the tubing collapse a bit.  Anyone have any experience with this?  ..........or does someone here have a real bender for this size tube?   I just need to make two bends.

	Several of us went together and bought a bender, but I think the only die set is 1.75", dunno the radius. Its with Scoutman, I think. If you want to donate a set of dies, Im sure we could work something out

	I have seen people successfully bend 1 in tubing with a conduit bender. They are about $50 from home depot.

	Jeff, I have a 1" X 3" Pro Tool bender.
