I need a winch, but I am afraid that if I put if on my stock bumper and the stock suspension that it will sag down and cause me to rub all the time!!

As soon as I get the body and motor mount lift I will be interested (assuming its still there)

Well the winch only weighs about 80# so find something of that approx weight and set her on the front of the jeep and see what deflection occurs...

i have the same winch (and a hi-lift on my bumper too) and a 3/4" spacer on the front coils takes care of it.

These guys are correct. Call me about the spacers, you might not notice any drop though. Depends on the condition  of your front springs.

Spring height doesn't cause you to rub. If you've got the right bumpstops
you could run stock springs and 35s and not rub...although you'd
probably be riding on the bumpstops...

Actually Walker, running 35s stock WILL cause rubbing, as in NO TURNING..

He just put on a 2" budget boost lift so I wouldn't recomend adding any more coil spring spacers.

Best thing to do is install the winch and bumper and take it from there... No sence in throwing parts at it without actually knowing if it will drop it down...

Mo, What's the mounting bolt pattern for the Warn x8000i? 4.5" x 10" hopefully?
