Well, thought I would give a little quick intro to the forum since I'm now a club member. I grew up near Skyline and now live in the Maysville area. I've got a '70 FJ40 and a '97 Tacoma that I wheel. Hope I can be of some value to the club and can't wait to meet all of you wither at the meetings or on the trails!

I don't see any problem with having more Toyota guys as long as they all bring their own Toyotas. I wouldn't like to see all of the Toyotas loaded up with a half dozen people in each rig. Of course I do now get a bit nervous when one falls in line behind me. I'd hate to become a victim of a sticking throttle! I spend more time watching my mirror than the trail in front of me.

thats ok, with the 18 transfer cases they need to turn the tires you probably have a couple of hours to dodge them ![]() |

Yes, the pedal in my '84 single cab pickup may stick in the future, causing me to speed 6 miles through the forest at .638 mph (due to my 18 transfer cases), leaving me and my 5 other passengers in fear for our lives.
Sorry to any butt-hurt jeepers.

Welcome Dan !
Don't let the Heep guys give you a hard time. They're suffering from jeepers denial syndrome. You should know how it is since you once owned a jeep cherokee........ until everything broke and you sold it for scrap.

THAT is funny!!! I'll take on anybody with my SINGLE transfer case in EITHER of my trucks! It's all fun though. I mean, I'd drive a Jeep to the mall too! Pics are coming soon. I knew I would get that but I didn't have any pics handy to throw up. |

Here's one of the Tacoma while we were in Texas at the Lonestar Toyota Jamboree a few months ago. It was sloppy! I'm rounding up some of the 40 still. Be patient!

Also, the large "wrecker" bumper on there must go! That thing is ridiculous!

It brings back memories of a ford I had with a bumper like that.
Except yours will actually go up something.
