I have already written my Representative asking him to oppose this theft of public lands.

I got this email back from Parker Griffith yesterday:

Dear Mr. Dalton:

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns. Hearing about the issues that are important to you helps me better do my job in Congress.

In your message, you expressed opposition to the America's Red Rock Wilderness Act, H.R. 1925. This bill Designates specified lands in areas of Utah as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System. As you may know this bill has been referred to the Subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands. Unfortunately, I do not serve on this committee. However, should this bill be considered by the full House of Representatives, I will be sure to remember your opinion.

As always, I appreciate hearing your views on this issue. Providing me with your opinion helps me better serve the Fifth District. To stay informed on the events in Washington and the Tennessee Valley, I encourage you to visit my website at http://griffith.house.gov.

Sincerely,

Parker Griffith
Member of Congress The office of Representative Parker Griffith of the 5th District of Alabama

He can't tell you how he'll vote until the final bill is written and he has a chance to read it.

Oh wait, they don't read bills before voting on them anyway.  What was I thinking?
