Turner mill and supply on washington would be the only place in town that would have it.
Heres one from enco. Don't buy the chinese taps. I've had them fail in several different ways. http://www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?PMAKA=510-1149&PMPXNO=944968&PARTPG=INLMK32 |

I took an old head bolt and ground a flute in it with a razor wheel. It works really good for cleaning out the gunk in the threads of the head bolts. I work in a machine shop but we don't have anything that size either.

Thanks for the info guys. I will check out Turner like you said John. If I have no luck there than I will have to just try the homemade approach. This isnt a big deal I just like to buy the right tool for the job even if I only use it once I will always have one.

Patrick,
I tried to call you earlier but your phone was off. I didn't call your house cause I didn't know if you were asleep. I'm going to put an order in to Enco tomorrow. I can stick your tap on with my order and save you shipping if you want. John |

Yes John I'll take one. Let me know what I owe you. Much appreciated. Thanks for the offer Doc. If I cant get one I will give you a call. I just want one for my set. I have over 200 taps and dies but never realized I didnt have a 12x1.25mm tap, never needed one till now, so this just helps complete my set. |

I bought a 12/125 metric tap at the Ace Hardware store in Decatur a few months ago. They have a pretty good selection of metric nuts and bolts as well.
