Thanks to everyone that came out for the 7th Annual King of the Hill!!!  We had a great time and think it was a great event!  We hope competitors and spectators feel the same!

Of course, we would always like to make things better, so if there's something you think we did right, please let us know.  And if there's something you think needs improvement, we would like to know about that too.

Thanks again for coming!!!  We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you again next year!

Thanks to all that helped me when I broke my junk. Great show . I had 6 couples come down to watch and all had fun and will be back.

You guy's and gal's are some of the best people I have came across in all my Wheeling. Thats why I drive so far to wheel with you all. Looking forward to the next time we meet.

I am going to Wooly's this weekend and hope to see some of you there . They need a good turnout to recap some of the stupid money that they spent so we can have a place to ride .

We may not have won but it was great being in such a well ran and exciting event. See you all next year.

Man you put on a good show there.  The crowd really cheered for you harder than anyone else I think...well until the  maniac in the BTF buggy went nuts and did a ballet move right in front of the crowd.

i had a blast as usual.  Teh only thing i noticed this year was a lack of competitors.  Most were out due to cut tires on the downhill portion. I enjoyed that part but it wouldnt hurt my feelings if yall left it out next year.

i would possibly look into changin it back to the straight uphill course, but move the main trail up over about 30 yards to sum new rocks.  Most of us kept hitting the same line  and it would be kewl to try somthin different..

just a thought

I disagree with you JR, I think the up, turn, then run back down made the course better.   But like I discussed with you personally prior to this race.   The same ledges getting used are just to worn down to make it "fun"   Alot of carnage these past few years I think are scaring guys off.    Your talking a 50 dollar ( or 150 for frame mods ) entry fee for 3 passes if you hustle and time allows and carnage nearly guarentee'd if your gunning for a trophy.   Its just not worth it for the small tire guys, and its real tough for limited budget local's that "could make the drive" there to compete.  Small tire..man I feel for them beating those rigs around the course.   At the same time, Im glad it was a small field because my boy won Small tire this year !  WOOO WOO

Regardless,  I had a great time and feel very lucky that someone allowed me to be there out of thier pocket.  I wouldnt have been there without that offer.     I had a blast and you guys always have a well run race and keep people moving and the action going as best you can.  Your club works together very well at these competitions !! Good Job guys !

Thanks Paul.

Hey, did anybody ever get your muffler back to you?  I just remembered moving it off the course and then went on to taking pictures again and forgot all about it until just now.

Thanks to everyone behind the KOH.I think the up and down added a real turn in excitement. The way the hill lays you can't really change much.I noticed your sign said Rock Crawl and that's what it really is just a fast one.I wish you had a little bit of straight away that they could strech out on a little, that seams to get the croud wound up good. All in all it was a very well run event, belive me I've been to some that should have been shut down.Adam's been trying for three years to win the trophy man.Keep up the good work,Pops

Tim,
I think there were a good many people that were happy to see Adam win it this year.  I, for one, was one of those folks.  I've seen him try for years and (last year) get so close but not quite there.  I had a funny feeling about it talking with him on Friday while walking around the course with him.  He wanted it.  I hope he has the "trophy man" aka - "The King of the Hill" in a good spot at the house.  First year he's ever had hips.  May be a collectors item some day.

Congrats.

He's a class act.

Some spectators told my wife that they'd like to see the big boys have more than 2 obstacles on the uphill part.

I spoke with Keith Bailey today, and he is another one that has run that race several years and this year he got a trophy.   Cool !

I wish you guys were doing the ring gear trophys the first year I ran it,  I would proudly rock that thing in my house !!  ( I got 3rd in limited big back in the day in the Turd )

Scott, good to see you again had a blast Friday night !

My pictures are now up.

Not the best pics this year - I was tied up with other duties, but online now nonetheless.
