He was doing fine up till where he needed to turn right.  Also, "clutch" is such a strange sounding word.

Always follow your spotters directions.

At least then you can blame it on someone else!

Yeah but come on now, those trucks are tough.  surely a roll like that doesn't hurt them

some rigs have a stable enough cage where they can just filp it back, fill up some fluids and crank her back up...

but most people would rather not roll, esecially like that

I have been around in the military awhile, and the the general rule  is if you loose sight of your ground guide or in this case your spotter stop moving the vehicle. I have seen what happened to two people (both Killed) and a few others injured were the driver kept  moving after loosing sight of the ground guide and ran over the ground guide  or ran into another vehicle/obstacle. No I was not involved in them just with the aftermath. seeing the remains of a person who is cut in half when a 5ton truck was backed into a concrete barricade is not a good sight especially after finding out that the guy stayed alive and was talking to people for 20 minutes afterwards.

sorry for being morbid but I hope that my past experience will help someone from doing the same thing in the future.
