Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe

There were about a dozen of these ahead of us on the Rubicon when I was out there mapping it last November.  My friend John recognized voices over the radio as two with Jeep Jamboree USA (a group often called upon to assist in guiding FCA engineers on the trail) and a few of the FCA engineers.  Some were speaking English, others ....not.  We stopped at Spider Lake at John's place night #1 and when we got there, he deployed his drone over into Rubicon Springs where they were all staying for the night.  We were able to take a peek at them and once they heard this drone from out of nowhere....they were rapidly covered up.  It was pretty funny to us.  No spy shots, just what we saw on his screen.  Fun stuff. It was a very low-traffic week day in very late season so they had picked that time intentionally.  The English parts of the discussion we eavesdropped into made it clear they were electric.
