What the ???? are you talking about ? Are you talking about the shims under the steering arms ? I'm almost sure those are only for setting the bearing preload on the trunion bearings.

If that's what you need then I have a ton of new ones.

I've never heard of "castor" shims for a solid axle toyota. As long as your trunion bearings are good , your castor should be correct.

Try this. Look at the knuckle service kit. It has everything you need to rebuild your front axle. http://www.marlincrawler.com/axleparts.html

Seco has them.  $25 a pair. I just got some for my toyota to adjust caster after installing longer shackles.

AHHHH!  Your talking about the little wedges that bolt on under the leaf springs. You lost me there for a minute.

Do us all a favor and stay away frome those cast aluminum pieces of crap. They WILL bust in half.

Heck for $25 a pair I can build you some out of steel. I built some for Scott Mead a while back.

 summit 19.95 a set

yes they are alum.

I've ran the $H!T out of my truck and haven't had any trouble with these but steel would be better.

I'll build you some and bring them to the next meeting.

I have seen the cast aluminum ones break in half at the center hole.

I had a set of these and broke 'em.  One side broke in two, and truck was really squirrely on the road, since one side of the axle was loose.

If you use properly designed shackles, hangers, and springs you shouldnt need these for the front....

There are no kits to "properly" install toy axles on a Samurai. I got to test my setup at Grayrock last Saturday and it worked pretty well, but I need to raise the pinion up a little to help the front driveshaft.

Nick, if you can make two sets, I'll take some also.  Thanks, JC

I'll see what I can do.

How did the Suzi perform? Glad to hear you got it going.

It did pretty well. I'll have to get used to it being a little higher off the ground (new wrangler springs). I scared my wife getting on 2 wheels going up a steep hill. I liked the traction of being locked front and rear, and the 5.29's feel good too.  JC
