   CERT, Community Emergency Response Teams, is a program that RCRC has been involved in since the first class offered in Madison County 10 years ago. The 44th class is currently going and is our "10th Anniversary" class.

This year marks a major shift in the CERT program here. As grant funding from the state has been discontinued for the CERT program, the Madison County CERT Association will be picking up the scheduling and conducting of classes next year. 

In order to continue conducting classes, The Madison County CERT Association will be conducting a Pancake Breakfast fundraiser at the North Parkway Applebee's Saturday morning Oct. 26 from 7am to 10am. Tickets are $5 each. I will have tickets available at the Club meeting at Newks this Thrusday if you are interested in supporting the program. Each ticket comes with a $3 coupon for your next visit to Applebees.
