Got a fellow wanting to put disc brakes on his '63 CJ5. I've found a few places with "kits". I've found a couple of parts lists but they aren't very clear on what years/axles they work with.
Anybody got experience/infor?

What axle is still in it? D27? It's probably easier just to swap to a D30 that already has discs especially if he's needing to regear anyway. If the D27 hubs are like the D30 drum hubs, you can machine .055" off the back of the hubs to allow the rotors to mount up. The later factory disc hubs look like this is what the factory did.

Seems cheaper/easier to find a 30 and swap the whole thing up there...
