| While not a 100% victory to allow unrestricted ownership, the decision reached and announced today is a much better solution than them upholding the DC gun ban. I think there will still be restrictions and there is still room for other 'reasonable' regulation, but nobody's coming to my door to collect my stuff. |

The big win here is the majority opinion that the 2nd is clearly a right granted to the INDIVIDUAL, not the collective in the form of an organized military of some sort. That in and of itself was a huge hurdle. ------------- DRM www.4x4spot.com |

Sorry, it's not that simple. A plaintiff would have to file suit, and it would then have to come BACK before the SCOTUS (no easy task itself), then they would have to actually agree to hear the case - and there is a BIG burden there for them to agree to hear it so soon after just deciding it... I gotta agree with 98TJ. The Dems will struggle like hell to get this one turned around.
