Who in Huntsville would do a good job turning the brake rotors that I've removed from our Camry?

the best rotor turning is done with them on the vehicle, so the turning axis is the same as the hub axis.  Several shops do that (including on the arsenal at auto skills).  Otherwise I know Oreilly auto parts turns rotors.  I've had too much trouble in the past with turned rotors getting DTV vibration so I just buy new.  If the rotors don't need turning due to unlevel wear or something, then the brake-in coating on EBC brake pads cleans up the surface for new pad bed-in.

You are correct, but I can buy 2 new yoter oem rotors for what they charge to turn them on the vehicle. This is the last yoter I will ever buy, it only has 230,000 miles and already needs brake work.

Just get new rotors.  You dont need OEMs, the aftermarket are fine.  I have a set on Kari's that have about 100K on them.

I have never seen any reason to do so when the aftermarket stuff is just as good, and sometimes its the same brand.  We put some Wagners on Kari's 4Runner and they have been fine.  I used powerslots on Ford, and they have lasted longer than the originals.  On some parts, OEM makes sense.  On rotors, it doesnt make sense to me, there's no reason to pay that premium.

I learned my lesson on the "same as oem" stuff back in the 70's.  Oem Yoter stuff only costs a little more than the other stuff and you know what you are getting.  The original rotors on our camry have 230k miles on them.  If I can save $20/rotor, that's $0.00009/mile more than after market..... I can live with that.
