I crushed my stainless exhaust tip coming off a rock at the Hale Mtn ride last Sat. Need to chop it off and get a new one welded on. Can anyone recommend a decently priced muffler shop in the Madison area that I can patron to get a new tip welded on? I wanted something more permanent than the aftermarket screw or clamp on ones you get at O'Reilly.

Mike,
If you can't find an exhaust shop to do this for you, I can put it up on the rack and weld a tip on. Clanton would be where I would tell you to go but I think they have closed.

I heard about Clanton from some others but they also said it might be closed. If I don't find a shop I'll get back with you. I appreciate the offer
