I have 90 K5 Blazer and a strange problem I can't figure out.  At idle, the truck's RPM will slow down then pick back up, it's not that noticable in park but when I put it in gear it's really noticable, some times it will even stall.  The truck has a TBI 350.  A friend on mine said it might be the TPS, does anyone have any information on how to check this?  Any help will be apreciated.

Have you checked the EFI for any fault codes?

I'm getting a code 43 now after replacing the idle air control and the tps.  Code 43 is suposed to be either the tps or a faulty ignition control module, but I just put a new distributor and control module in 4 months ago but I took the control module out and had it tested and it tested good.  I can't find any vacume leaks either.  The truck runs great anywhere above idle.

First of all, check connections - wiggle them w/ vehicle running.  Check connections into the computer.  If the TPS is adjustable, that may be problem also.....

Finally figured out the problem, It was the "new" distributor I put in from Advanced.  Got another one yesterday and it runs better but I still get a code 43 every once in a while but the light does not stay on all the time anymore... Moral is don't buy a distributor from Advanced.
