We have started making JK lower control arm skids in the shop. These are made out of 3/16 plate. The fronts are $30/pair. The rears are $27/pair. All 4 for $50. Installation available.

I need this. How much for fronts with install? Do you unbolt the control arms to avoid heat getting to the bushing or does it not matter? One of my axle ears has a small bend so it would be good to get that straightened also.

$95 out the door for the fronts only with install. I did not unbolt the control arms as I'm not getting that much heat into them doing this. No issues with them melting or anything of that nature. I did weld them in steps with some cool off time in between to avoid excessive heat into those parts. If you decided you wanted all 4 it would be $145 out the door.

one thing to note is that a lot of the bigger aftermarket players put a slot in the fronts to accommodate greasable joints. Maybe that can just be an option for you if folks want it.

finally got the fronts done last Friday and it looks great.  Should toughen things up down there.
