Fair share my ass! They already get more than their fair share now.

My business pays the following taxes:
Business Personal Property tax
State Income tax
Federal Income tax
Social Security tax
Alabama Business Privilege tax
Unemployment tax
Payroll tax
Commercial Vehicle tax
Huntsville City tax
Sales tax

The two I have the biggest problem with is Huntsville City and Business Personal Property tax. The BPPT taxes you on all the items the business owns and anything that you personally own that gets used for the business. IE they tax the desk I'm sitting in front of and the computer I'm using. Even the chair I'm sitting in. The issue I have with Huntsville City is they tax you based on your gross sales, even if some of the sales are not in their district. I still don't see how that's legal.

welcome to my world! You ought to pay commercial real property tax on top of that. I hate the business personal property tax-who the hell came up with that? Make sure you get rid of broken shit-they want to tax that in a audit. I have a bunch of extra parts/extra equipment that I have to keep at home.
