Hey steve, what is the backspacing on those 12x16.5 rims? Also what is the width and backspacing on the stock rims, and is the factory safety beads the type of rim that easily looses the bead?

Not sure the backspacing but the factory chevy wheels have just as much safety beads as a 15" wheels. You mount a 14 or wider tire on one and I don't think you'd loose a bead often

Steve,

Do you still have the 14 bolt FF? What condition is it in?

Will this fit into an 83 K10 1/2ton? IIRC the 3/4 ton version will but the 1 ton version has to have the spring pads moved due to the 1 ton frame being narrower.

It probably needs new seals and a good brake overhaul. It came out of a '78 3/4 ton so it'll bolt right in a 1/2 ton. Steve
