Does anyone know anything about this year range Jeep Grand Cherokee?  I had a 2000 for several years and had fairly good luck with it so I am thinking about getting one in this year range.

I'm glad someone brought this up. I've heard of cooling and electrical issues. Anyone else know any cases of these? I've test-driven an 07 model and it seems like a good solid jeep to me.

Well, the wife owns an  05 4.7,2wd, Rocky Mountain Eddition(don't ask me why) and it has been to the dealer about three times for electrical issues.  IACV, switches not switching, air bag lite on for no reason, and as we speek there is a puddle of coolant under it and I can's see where the hell it is leaking from!!!  IMO don't buy an 05 or 06, usually takes a few production years to get the kinks out.

Yeah, I have read a lot about them and kinda changed my mind unless I find a really good deal.
