Go to www.caos4x4.com forum's board under trail rides. Every thing you need to know is there. It is well worth the price to get for the weekend. There is another one day ride a couple of weeks later.Come on down ,everyone will treat you so many ways one of them will have to be right.

You can do a one day ride for 30 or 40 bucks. Why are you doing a body lift?  JC

Really!  Makes the CG higher, so it will turn over more easily.  Spend your money on stuff that will really help the vehicle's capability.  I dont think you were rubbing tires much on the coalmine ride, were you?

no i wasnt but at full flex i do, with a tad bit of space between the bumpstops,  and once i can afford a RE long arm kit i will be high enough for 35's.    its only a 1"  body lift

Probably going to need to regear to run 35s, or else the jeep will turn into a slug.  1" BL is OK, wont change the CG that much.  Good luck w/ it!

dana44,

Theres lots of folks running 35s on a Dana 30 series axles.  The maroon jeep that almost got turned over on the coalmine ride is an example, Paul Wright is another example.  They are reliable unless you are going to thrash it and use rediclous doses of skinny pedal.

Look on the main page of the RCRC website, click on the pic of the jeep with the wheel in the air.  I cant tell a super 35 from anything else, I just know its not a 44.

Paul is running the super 35 kit on his rear dana 35 in his YJ, don't remember what guts he is running on the front 30, but he currently runs 33" tires.

The maroon jeep has a model 20 rear end with a warn full floater kit and warn shafts.  I believe the front axle has some beefed up parts but not sure, both ends are running ox lockers and 35" tires.
