Wow! I learned a bit of this in one of my PoliSci classes is college, but never new the extent of the links... I will definitely be doing some additional research on this topic.

Yeah it's definitely eye opening. I took the viewpoint if 1/4 of what they are saying is true then we have reason to worry.

If you are surprised by anything in that video, you should read FA Hayek's book, "The Road to Serfdom". It's a short book and easy read. The book was published in the 40's but could have been written yesterday.
If you do read the book, as I recall he uses the word "liberals" in it's traditional/classical meaning, not as it is used now to describe "leftists". He uses the term "liberals" to describe pro-liberty/pro-freedom types. He would describe Thomas Jeferson as being a liberal. At least that is what I remember; it's been 20 years since I read it.
